De HCET 88/98-serie zijn mechatronische beveiligingsapparatuur die speciaal is ontworpen voor luchtcompressoren en andere toepassingen in omgevingen met hoge luchtvochtigheid en sterke trillingen.Met behulp van een bimetalen mechanisch aandrijfsysteem, deze beschermers reageren op de thermische effecten van de stroom door de bimetalleen strip te buigen om het circuit rechtstreeks af te snijden, waardoor oververhitting van de motor wordt voorkomen.
